Stage curtains (black drapery, black masking or black curtains) are a staple in almost every venue, the intent is to absorb light and hide objects, widely used in theater, auditorium, events, exhibition,Stadium and other public place, where needs to control lighting.
Black curtains provide designers an environment within which there are no distracting elements other than the entertainment itself. Black masking fabrics all have a matte finish so they won't reflect light.

IFR means inherently flame retardant, the fabrics are made of IFR yarn, the fabrics are washable, and washing will not affect its flame-retardant effect.
FR treatment means the flame-retardant effect is achieved by adding flame-retardant additives during the post-dyeing finishing process. the fabric is not washable, the flame-retardant effect will decrease after washing.

Step1: Choose the fabric
Based on your specific application scenario (theatre, church, school or gymnasium) and the key performance requirements (flame-retardant, light blocking, sound absorption), select the appropriate fabric
Step2: Dimension measurement
Firstly, Determine whether the curtains need a wave look or flat surface, If wave look is needed, How much fullness is required? Usually, we do 1.5x pleats and 2.0x pleats.
Then measure the total width and the height of the wall or the areas where need to be covered.

Step3: Choose the Sewing method
1.Eyelets + Ties
5 cm reinforced webbing with eyelet s each 20 cm and 60 cm ties
Suitable for direct attachment to the truss or pipes
2.Metal Hooks
Pinch Pleats with metal hooks
Applicable to walls that have curtain tracks installed on the top
3.Rod pocket
10cm pocket
Applicable to pipe and drapes system
4.D-rings + ties
Pinch pleats with D-rings sewing behind the top of the curtains and 60cm ties
Suitable for c direct attachment to the truss or pipes and unable to be moved
5.Velcro Style(hook-and-loop)
Velcro strips attach the curtain to a rod or wall(hook fixes on the truss or wall, loop on the curtains)
Suitable for use as the stage skirts around the stage perimeter
Step4: Logo Customization
In some countries, fire safety regulations require that labels with fire resistance standards be sewn onto curtains.
We can customize labels with the company logo, information, curtain's size and flame-retardant standards, and sew it onto the bottom of the curtains.
Step5: Other special customization
We can also offer some special customized services according to your requirements, including but not limited to sewing with Velcro, adding magnets, etc.
